Many of you might be thinking what the heck is going on here. Well, here's the short of it: I'm really busy, but still wanted to keep 1989 & Still Waiting going. So, I decided to use my blog and make it the driving force behind a new idea: The ECAC Hockey Blog Network. As far as I know, this is the first ever blog network in college hockey. Kind of cool I guess.

While I don't have the time for daily up to date content, my buddies here at The Network will provide that all for you, right here in one spot. I'll be chiming in from time to time with a few opinions and analysis of my own, along with the fun things like "Three Stars," "Tweets of the Week," etc. The goal here is to allow ECAC Hockey fans and all college hockey fans to be provided with the most in depth looks of all 12 teams and the league as a whole. With time, I think this is definitely a possibility.

As of this moment, 9 of the 12 ECAC teams will be covered on this site with the only three without a blog being Colgate (they had one, but it just disappeared), Princeton and St. Lawrence (any takers?). Of these nine blogs, four of them are new to the blogsphere, one has started back up for this season, and four existing blogs have agreed to join the network. You will see everyone's work here on the main page throughout the season.

Also, be sure to take advantage of a new feature to the site: the ECAC Hockey Fan Forum. This will just be like the USCHO Fan Forum, but it will ONLY be ECAC Hockey discussions. It's a new idea, so we'll see how it works.

This is going to be a fun site, which should parallel with another fun year of ECAC Hockey. Good luck to all the teams, players, coaches, and especially the fans.
